International Medics is an agency focussing on supplying medical personnel. Our clients usually hire medical staff for short term or long term projects, especially when these projects are in places where medical facilities are limited or non-existent.

We mainly employ doctors and paramedics from the Philippines, but also medical staff with other nationalities. We do our business in cooperation with the Travel Clinic.
Our cooperation with the Travel Clinic
The Travel Clinic has specific knowledge and expertise in the field of tropical medicine and traveller’s diseases, treating patients who return from far destinations, carrying various diseases.
Many Dutch hospitals often turn to its consultants and tropical doctors when they are treating patients who return from far-away places carrying a fever, and turn out to have contracted malaria.
Our medical personnel work independently, but, if needed, they can also rely on the support and 24/7 medical back-up of the Travel Clinic.
Our medical staff
The doctors & medics employed by International Medics are qualified, well trained and experienced on board (dredging) vessels or in remote site clinics.
Their daily routine consists of daily patient consultations, writing patient files, and daily reports to the Travel Clinic. If required, they can check medical files beforehand to see whether your personnel is capable of functioning in – often – hard conditions, and they keep track of the necessary vaccinations. They also provide onsite reanimation training and first-aid courses for the crewmembers, keep an eye on hygiene, regularly check of water quality, and see to it that your employees operate safely. In short, if required they will do many tasks concerning your QHSE policy.
But, if necessary, they can be a trusted intermediary. It might also be an important psychological factor to be sure that an expert is at hand in case of an emergency. The doctor or medic will make sure that everything will be dealt with from a to z.
